I've got a 2001 Malibu Response LX with only 423 hours I'm looking to sell. I'm the original owner. Bought the boat from Tinus Marine. It's been winterized and stored indoors every winter. It's been garaged between uses during the summer, so it hasn't been out of the sun, and the color is still strong. It has the monsoon 320 efi engine. The 2001 is the first year of fuel injected motors, and it starts up easily. I would recommend looking at Malibu's after 2001 to get fuel injection. I had a professional upholstery guy come out last year and fill the few pin sized holes in the vinyl. I had the hull acid washed and waxed last year. I installed the latest Stargazer 3 event GPS perfect pass speed control with two magnetic sensors. Last summer, I got a new Sony DSX-MS60 marine radio with integrated iPod control. I put on a maroon Taylor Made bimini top that matches the maroon on the boat. It comes with a Heatercraft 3 outlet heater for those cold morning ski runs. It has the open front bow. It comes with an skylon extended pylon for wakeboarding and a barefoot international boom for teaching and learning. The boat also comes with the wedge that drops down to create a wake for wakeboarding, and then pulls up for slalom skiing. I blew a tire last summer, so it's got two brand new tires on the trailer. It also comes with the factory canvas Malibu boat cover.
